This is an example of a message you can send to the club:

Dear Portland Thorns Football Club,

As a fan and supporter of Portland Thorns FC, I am writing to object to Ring's continued sponsorship of the club. Ring has a history of providing surveillance data from their products to law enforcement organizations, in ways that endanger the civil rights of American citizens and residents. Ring's corporate practices are not in line with my values, those of many Thorns fans like me, nor of the city we all represent.

I understand the importance of club sponsorships, but I am asking you to terminate and replace this sponsorship as soon as possible, so that we, the club's supporters, can continue to support the team and the players we love in good conscience. You can do better. The players and their fans deserve better. The city of Portland deserves better.
